An “Economy Forum”, “Sectoral Seminars” and “Face-to-Face Meetings” will be held with the cooperation of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 2-3, 2012 in the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Congress and Exhibition Center.

 

The partners of the organization include the Italian Trade and Promotion Agency of the Italian Consulate General – Department of Economic Development, the Confederation of Italian Industry (CONFINDUSTRIA), the Italian Banking Association (ABI), the Italian Union of Chambers (UNIONCAMERE), the Italian Association of Tradesmen and Artisans (RETE IMPRESE ITALIA), and the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT), the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD), the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD), and the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK).

The main objective of the event is to gather Italian and Turkish companies operating in the industrial machines and energy/renewable energy sectors, to provide and develop new cooperation opportunities. In this vein, face-to-face meetings between Italian industrialists and Turkish businessmen will be held on May 3, 2012. The events that will take place on May 2-3, 2012 will be free of charge and simultaneous translation services will be available, while translators will also be present at the face-to-face meetings on May 3, 2012.
