To whom it may concern,
Turkey has been undergoing fast and sustainable economic growth in recent years, and the country’s main economic indicators are greatly admired and praised by the whole world. Besides economic conditions, its stable political structure and historical background have enabled Turkey to become a rising regional power. Taking into consideration the country’s current infrastructure and all resources that have been placed on a sound economic and political basis, international economic institutions estimate that Turkey will rank among the top ten economies in the world over the next decades.
Turkey has set grandiose targets for 2023, the centennial celebration of the Republic of Turkey. In parallel with these ambitious goals such as national automobile and aircraft production, it has planned to make giant investments and to leap forward in various areas of strategic importance.
We believe that the most significant element in realizing these goals is to have well-educated generations. Turkey, having more than 17 million students, is now allocating the majority of its budget for education. In this regard, between 2011 – 2014, all students and teachers will be provided with ‘tablet PCs’, while all classrooms will be equipped with ‘interactive white boards’ that are compatible with tablet PCs. We would like to invite your company/consortium to our country in order to realize this project called “FATİH”, by making a local contribution. You may fınd all details related to the project in the attachment of this letter.
We think that this project will create great opportunities for your corporation’s future: You will grab the chance to penetrate into a market with a total population of 1.5 billion people and a GDP of USD 23 trillion, as well as into Turkey which has a Customs Union Agreement with the European Union and Free Trade Agreements with several countries.
In this vein, we kindly request you to send your concrete, thorough and satisfactory proposal entitled ‘FATİH PROJECT PROPOSAL’ until February 1, 2012 to the address of the Ministry of National Education specified in the position papers.
