Aksam-Bugun - Turkey’s economy is resuming its fast growth rates observed in the pre-crisis period and might even reach a 10 percent growth in the first half of 2010. Speaking at a conference organized by the Turkish Economic Association (TEK), the Finance Minister praised the growth rates of the economy following the economic crisis and noted the increasing employment.

“In contrast to many other countries in the world, Turkey beat the expectations in economic recovery and the strong performance of the economy has started to create employment”, said Simsek, adding that the Turkish economy grew at a probable rate of 10 percent in the first half of the year.
