AA – Grand National Assembly of Turkey – Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi (TBMM) has ratified an accord to launch the Nabucco Project, which is designed to carry natural gas from the Caspian region and the Middle East to Europe, transiting Turkey.

Following discussions, the Turkish Parliament ratified the deal signed by Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Turkey to launch the Nabucco project. Under the law approved by the parliament, the Nabucco pipeline will be built to carry natural gas to European customers via Turkey.
