Bosch 

 

The Bosch Group has an international reputation as a leading supplier of technology and services, employing around 360,000 associates worldwide (as of April 1, 2015) and in 2014 generated sales of EUR 49 billion. The company’s operations are divided into four business sectors: mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods, energy and building technology.

 

Bosch Turkey consists of five different companies, and R&D centers, in Istanbul, Manisa and Tekirdag, and also operates in the areas of mobility solutions, energy and building technologies, industrial technologies, and consumer goods.

 

The Bosch Group first started its operations in Turkey back in 1910 with a branch office. It was 1972 when it opened its first factory in Bursa. As of April 2015, Bosch Turkey is one of the leading technology and services providers, employing 15,000 people. The company reached total net sales of EUR 1.68 billion, and an export volume of EUR 1.2 billion in 2014.

 

Globally, the Bosch Group comprises Robert Bosch GmbH and its 440 subsidiary and regional companies across 60 countries. Taking into account its sales and service partners, Bosch is represented in roughly 150 countries. This worldwide development, manufacturing, and sales network are the foundation for further growth.

 

In 2014, Bosch applied for around 4,600 patents worldwide. The Bosch Group’s strategic objective is to create solutions for a connected life.
