Cadbury 

 

Kent Gida Maddeleri San. ve Tic. A.S., which was founded by the Tahincioglu family in 1956, is one of the leading food companies of Turkey with its impressive history of 53 years. In 2002, the majority stake of the Kent Gida was acquired by Cadbury Schweppes, the biggest confectionary manufacturer of the world which was established approximately 200 years ago and is carrying out production activities in more than 60 countries.

 

Giving great importance to the Turkish market, Cadbury made its second largest investment by acquiring the Intergum firm as well, in 2007 so as to expand the scope of its operations in Turkey. Kent Gida operates in the field of confectionery, including products such as sugar candy, gum and items offered as gift and treats, while Intergum operates in the gum sector. Both are among Cadbury's firms in Turkey.

 

Offering service under the roof of its facilities located on an area of 110,000 m² in Cayirova, Gebze, Cadbury Turkey makes strenuous efforts to create brands which will appeal to people. Cadbury Turkey is the leader of all categories of the candy market with the brands of Jelibon in jell candy, Olips in the medical candy, Topitop in the lollypops, Tofita in the soft candy, Missbon in hard candy, Bonibon in sugar-coated pill and Kent in the feast candy. The company, which is also the market leader of the gum category with the brands of Falim, First, Toybox, Şıpsevdi and Sulugöz, operates in the chocolate gift and chocolate for guests markets with the Cadbury and Kent brands, as well.
