Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola Icecek (CCI) is the 6th largest bottler in The Coca-Cola System in terms of sales volume. CCI’s core business is producing, selling and distributing sparkling and still beverages of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). CCI employs around 9,000 people and has operations in Turkey, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Iraq and Syria, as well as exports to Tajikistan.

CCI has a total of 20 plants and offers a wide range of beverages to a consumer base of approximately 350 million people. In addition to sparkling beverages, the product portfolio includes juices, waters, sports and energy drinks, tea and iced teas. CCI operates in growth markets that are generally characterized by low per capita consumption, growing GDP and very promising demographics.

Following the acquisition of Efes Invest in late 2005, CCI evolved from a bottling operation active only in Turkey to a regional beverage company. While rapidly expanding its geographic reach and investments, CCI also registered uninterrupted volume growth during this period. Such outstanding results can be directly attributed to the consistent execution of key business motivators, such as product innovation and a strong sales and distribution network.

CCI's unique Route-to-Market model, developed over the years in Turkey, is successful in driving revenue, volume, profit and market share. Gradually transferring this model to its international operations, CCI will continue to implement it in its newly penetrated territories.

In May 2006, CCI successfully completed the IPO of CCI on the Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB). CCI was delighted with both the response to its business model and the show of confidence from domestic and international investors, which led to the IPO being oversubscribed eleven fold.

Today, CCI operates in ten different countries and leads the region with its sustainable business model. CCI is committed to productivity, innovation and continuous improvement at each stage of its business. Having published the first Corporate Social Responsibility Report approved by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in Turkey in 2007, CCI transparently and comprehensively discloses its social, environmental and economic impacts.

CCI is determined to continue adding zest to life by offering products that appeal to hundreds of millions of consumers.
