French-Turkish company to produce solar panels in Izmir

Zaman - Although seen as under-utilized, Türkiye’s vast renewable energy sources are beginning to attract attention with the ongoing global financial crisis. As the alternative energy dramatically attains importance, foreign investors are coming forward for a timely entry into the Turkish energy market. French Turkish joint venture DataTSP AS., established in Izmir’s Ataturk Organized Industrial Zone, will initially employ 150 people with a EUR 12 million of investment. The plant will manufacture photovoltaic solar panels for energy production.
