Zaman - Turkey’s President Abdullah Gul’s recent visit to China has contributed significantly to the promotion of investment opportunities in Turkey. Zafer Caglayan, the Turkish Minister of State, said a Chinese automotive company will set up an automobile plant in Turkey along with its Turkish partner. Caglayan said the government will guarantee easy allocation of the land chosen for the plant. According to reports, there are ongoing efforts to establish the plant in the central Anatolian province of Konya. Energy, mining and automotive are among the top sectors to cooperate with China.
