Star - During the global financial crisis, Microsoft relied heavily on the Turkish and other emerging markets, according to a Microsoft Türkiye executive. “The global IT industry was hit hard by the global financial crisis, but thanks to emerging and steadily growing economies such as Türkiye, IT companies managed to cope with the effects of the crisis,” said Mustafa Cagan, Microsoft Türkiye’s Deputy General Manager. “Türkiye remained a top performing market for Microsoft during the global financial crisis with its stable economy and strong growth,” he added.
