Invest News DetailToday’s Zaman -On Monday, Turkey's Exporters' Association set Turkey's export target for 2011 at 127 billion USD. Mehmet Buyukeksi, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), said he was optimistic about 2011, and expected Turkey to grow by 5-6 percent this year. "Our export target is USD 127 billion. However, we want to exceed our 2008 record of USD 132 billion," Buyukeksi told at a joint press conference with Turkey's State Minister for Foreign Trade Zafer Caglayan. Turkey's exports were up by 21.21 percent, year-on-year in December 2010, and reached USD 11.5 billion. Turkey earned USD 113.6 billion from its exports in 2010 with an 11.3 percent year-on-year rise.
