Türkiye to construct seven marinas for luxurious yachts

Zaman – The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Communication is moving full steam ahead with investments despite the global financial turmoil. The General Directorate of Airports, Railways and Ports Authority (DLH) under the Ministry of Transport and Communication will hold a tender for seven marinas that will amount to around USD 150 million. The ‘build-operate-transfer’ model will be adopted for the marinas. Meanwhile, a tender will be held for operating Kumkuyu, Trabzon and Avsa Island marinas with docks and related facilities. The infrastructural works for these marinas are near completion. Interested parties may receive the tender file from the General Directorate of DLH as of May 18.
