Invest News DetailToday’s Zaman - Turkish building contractor the Nata Group has started the construction of the biggest shopping mall in Ankara -- also the largest in Turkey -- in the Turkish capital’s Mamak district. The Nata Group's real estate project development specialist, Gul Senol, said in a statement to the Anatolia news agency on Tuesday that the project, consisting of four phases, is expected to be completed by 2012. “The phases include a Metro gross market, home products retailer Ikea, the shopping mall itself and residential areas,” said Senol. The Nata Group project, once finished, will have a covered area of 500,000 square meters and a 360-degree aquarium in the middle of a restaurant, which will be also the biggest aquarium in Turkey. Senol noted that there are also plans for constructing a ski run in the mall.
