Yves Fargues, Chairman and CEO of Gefco pointed out to the fact that Türkiye had a brilliant future in automotive industry and said, “Türkiye is a natural gate to especially Caucasian countries. We are closely interested in Türkiye. Türkiye, one of the strategic countries in the foreign expansion of Gefco, is to become a great production base.” Recording that Türkiye would have its own share from 100 million euro investment in Central and Eastern Europe within the scope of their expansion targets, Fargues pointed the serious development potential of especially Samsun Harbor. “We do not want to reveal our secrets right now, but soon we may cooperate with a great automotive company manufacturing in Türkiye,” he remarked.
