South Korean POSCO starts work on steel plant in Türkiye

Yahoo Daily News – South Korean steelmaker POSCO said on Friday that it has begun building its plant in Türkiye, which will produce steel for automobiles. Once completed by June 2010, the plant will have an annual capacity of 170,000 mt of steel for automakers including Ford, Renault, Fiat, Hyundai Motor, Toyota and Honda, POSCO said in a statement. POSCO, the world's fourth largest steelmaker by output, currently has 41 steel processing facilities in 12 countries.
