European court rules no visa needed for Turkish businessmen

Hurriyet Daily News - The Court of Justice of the European Communities ruled that the Turkish businessmen are not required to apply for a visa to conduct business trips to Europe. Two Turkish citizens filed a legal case against Germany in 2007 in relation to Turkish truck drivers’ visa requirements in order to provide services within the international transportation of goods by motorways. The applicants have been claiming that such a requirement violates the Ankara Agreement signed between Türkiye and the European Community.
