Route set for Istanbul's third Bosphorus bridge

Sabah – The Turkish Ministry of Transportation is about to embark upon a huge new project, as the long-anticipated route of the third bridge to cross the Bosphorus has been decided on. Türkiye’s Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim said, “Previously, there were six options; however we have made a decision. The only thing I can say at this stage is that the bridge will be located further north from both the Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges.” Implying that a tender may be held for the development of the third bridge this year, Yildirim carefully avoided revealing the actual location designated.
