Invest News DetailDunya - According to the recently released data by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Türkiye’s industrial production increased by 6.9 percent in July in comparison to a year earlier. Beating the market expectations of a 4.6 percent increase, the industrial production indexes of the mining and quarrying subsectors went up by 1.1 percent, the manufacturing sector by 7.2 percent, and the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector by 7.1 percent. The calendar adjusted index went up by 9.8 in July when compared to the same month of 2010. The index rose 2.7 percent against the previous month of 2011, with seasonal and calendar effects applied.
