US magazine puts two Turkish hotels in its best hotel list

AA - A US magazine has put two Turkish hotels in its list of the best hotels in the world. US travel magazine "Travel & Leisure" included two Turkish hotels among its list of the best 45 hotels in the world in 2009. The editors of the magazine ranked the Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus and Park Hyatt Macka Palas in the Turkish city of Istanbul among the best hotels in the world. The magazine defined the Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus as a former Ottoman palace on the European side of the Bosphorus that has quickly become one of Istanbul's most coveted destinations, thanks to a nine-year restoration. "The unfailingly discreet service—not to mention three sultan-worthy Turkish baths—has already proven to be a draw for the appreciation of Sarah Jessica Parker, Lenny Kravitz and Colin Farrell," the magazine wrote. The magazine defined Park Hyatt Macka Palas as a hotel in the heart of the fashionable Nisantasi district—known for its Art Nouveau façades and high-fashion boutiques.
