Turkey's automobile exports back on growth track

AA - Turkey's automobile exports resumed growth with a 15.1 percent year-on-year rise in October following a 12-month falling trend. According to data released by the Uludag Exporters' Union (UIB), Turkey's automobile exports between January and October amounted to USD 12.543 billion, marking a 39.4 percent year-on-year decline. However, automobile exports got back on growth track in October 2009, with exports amounting to USD 1.633 billion with a 15.1 percent year-on-year increase. Turkey currently exports automobiles to 167 countries and autonomous regions, as well as to 13 Free Zones.
