“Türkiye-Canada bilateral relations will boom in the next decade”

Referans - Gerry Ritz, Canada’s Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, said bilateral relations between Türkiye and Canada are improving and that there are many areas to cooperate in. During his visit to Türkiye’s southern province of Mersin, the Canadian Minister visited the office of Mersin Governor Hasan Basri Guzeloglu, who briefed the minister on the largest port city in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Indicating that there are common traits shared by the two countries, Ritz said, “Similar to Canadians, Turks are also hardworking and determined people with strong family values. Common traits like these may serve as a basis for improvement in bilateral relations. There is still room for improvement in our relations; the next decade will see deeper ties between Türkiye and Canada.”
