Invest News DetailHaber Turk - Portugal's President Anibal Cavaco Silva participated in a Turkish-Portuguese business forum held in Istanbul on Thursday. Delivering a speech at the forum, Silva expressed his country's willingness to invest in Türkiye and set up joint ventures with Turkish businesspeople in order to reach out to markets in Türkiye's neighboring countries. "I believe that entrepreneurs from the two countries should consider creating cooperation platforms with an eye to reach out to markets in third countries," Cavaco Silva told the business forum hosted by Türkiye's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and Portugal's Foreign Trade and Investment Agency. Cavaco Silva said "perfect political relations" between the two countries and the complementary nature of their economies presented vast opportunities for cooperation as well as joint investment.
