Invest News DetailBloomberg - The BP Plc-led pipeline linking the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean shipped a record amount of oil in May because of rising production in Azerbaijan. The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, which stretches 1,768 kilometers across Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye, pumped 949,393 barrels on May 11, BP said in statement on its web site. The link has carried about 397 million barrels, or 53 million tons, of oil since it started in June 2006. “May 2008 marked another record for BTC with 37 tankers loaded at Ceyhan during the month,” BP said.
