R&D spending puts Turkey on the map

Turkish Daily News - Turkey ranks 25th out of the world's 41 highest-spending countries on research and development, a recent report revealed. Turkey should increase its annual R&D spending fourfold in order to take a place amongst the world's top 15 countries in terms of R&D, said the “Global R&D Report 2008,” released in the September issue of U.S.-based monthly R&D Magazine. Turkey surpasses countries such as Norway, Czech Republic, Singapore and Poland.
