Aksam - South Korean car maker Hyundai’s i20 model hatchbacks will be produced in the company’s Izmit plant in western Türkiye. The Turkish made version of the supermini will be called “i20 Troy”, in reference to its home country.

The production line for 80,000 units of the new model will require USD 100 million of new investments in Hyundai’s Türkiye plant and will employ some 1,000 people. i20 has already secured 16,000 orders from customers in Europe.
