“Tekirdağ is a location where all means of transportation gather at one place. We will hopefully attract more investments into Tekirdağ,” Investment Office President Burak Dağlıoğlu told the press members on December 23.
Dağlıoğlu paid a field visit to Asya Port in Tekirdağ and shared his insights on how to provide added value to Türkiye’s Tekirdağ province.
Emphasizing that it is one of the Investment Office’s responsibilities to offer alternative locations for investors’ projects, Dağlıoğlu said, “Asya Port is a significant port. It has contributions to Türkiye’s export volume. Exports from the port will be increased in the long run if Tekirdağ attracts more investments. It is a port compatible with the world standards.”
Within the framework of his visit, Dağlıoğlu was also welcomed by Tekirdağ Governor Aziz Yıldırım, and visited the Turkish State Railways Combined Transportation Transfer Station along with the Investment Office Department Head Ali Kamil Özmen.
