Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Industry and Technology brought Türkiye's dynamic technology, innovation, and investment ecosystem to the global stage through the Türkiye Pavilion at VivaTech 2026, one of Europe's largest technology and startup events.
Held in Paris, VivaTech convened leading technology companies, venture capital funds, investors, entrepreneurs, and public sector representatives from around the world. Through the Türkiye Pavilion, the country showcased its emerging technology ventures, innovative business models, and investment opportunities to key players in the global technology and investment ecosystem.
Participating in VivaTech regularly since 2023, Türkiye marked the event's 10th anniversary with a 135-square-meter national pavilion and the participation of 26 technology startups, delivering a strong national presence at one of Europe's premier technology gatherings. The pavilion featured Turkish startups operating in AI, semiconductor technologies, health technologies, robotics, SaaS, industrial digitalization, and deep-tech solutions.
Throughout the event, investor meetings, business development sessions, and networking activities enabled participating startups to engage directly with international investors and potential business partners and fostered new collaborations, creating opportunities for global expansion.
As part of the program, Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Investment and Finance Office President A. Burak Dağlıoğlu delivered keynote speeches at the Sovereignty Arena, highlighting Türkiye's growing role in the global innovation landscape.
In his remarks, Minister Kacır emphasized the government's commitment to supporting the internationalization of Turkish technology startups. “As the Ministry of Industry and Technology, together with the Investment and Finance Office, we support the participation of Türkiye's technology startups in international platforms," Kacır said, stressing the importance of connecting Turkish entrepreneurs with global investors and innovation networks.
The Minister also noted that Türkiye brought 26 technology startups to VivaTech 2026, including 14 companies from the Turcorn 100 Program, which supports high-potential startups on their journey toward billion-dollar valuations.
Meanwhile, during his address, A. Burak Dağlıoğlu highlighted Türkiye's competitive advantages at a time when global production networks are being reshaped and technological transformation is accelerating. “At a time when resilience, talent, and innovation are becoming increasingly decisive factors in investment decisions, Türkiye stands out with its strong industrial infrastructure, young and skilled workforce, thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem, and strategic location," said Dağlıoğlu.
Dağlıoğlu also added that Türkiye continues to strengthen its position as a regional and global powerhouse for technology, innovation, and investment by combining industrial capability with a rapidly evolving startup ecosystem.
Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye remains committed to advancing its National Technology Initiative, further reinforcing its ambition to become a country that develops its own technologies and innovative solutions through domestic capabilities and talent, while successfully competing in global markets with high-value products and services.
