Anadolu Isuzu is one of Türkiye's leading manufacturers in the truck, light truck, midibus, and bus segments. The company was established as a joint venture between Anadolu Group, Isuzu Motors Limited, and Japan-based Itochu Corporation, a global company operating in the field of international trade. With a strong product portfolio, effective after-sales services, and an extensive dealer and service network, Anadolu Isuzu has built a solid position in the commercial vehicle market. Having started the production of trucks, light trucks, and midibuses for the domestic market in the 1980s, the company accelerated its export activities in the 2000s and quickly became Türkiye's leading midibus export brand.
Employing 1,636 people, Anadolu Isuzu continues to strengthen its leadership in the sector through technology-driven, sustainability-focused, and R&D-oriented investments. Operating on a 300,000 square meters of site in Çayırova, Kocaeli, the company's production facilities feature an efficient and digital manufacturing infrastructure. As part of its Industry 4.0 vision, Anadolu Isuzu has established a smart factory structure supported by IoT, digital quality control, and digital twin technologies, enabling production processes to be fully traceable and manageable. The company aims to expand connected and digital vehicle technologies through digitalization and smart mobility solutions.
Anadolu Isuzu exports to more than 40 countries, primarily in Europe. Adopting a “tailor-made production" approach, the company designs vehicles tailored to specific customer needs and ranks among industry leaders in customer satisfaction thanks to its extensive service network, fast spare parts supply, and strong after-sales services. With a strategic focus on increasing its share in export markets and expanding into new geographies, Anadolu Isuzu took a significant step in 2025 in line with its vision of international growth and sustainable value creation. By acquiring a majority stake in SamAuto, a long-established manufacturer in Uzbekistan, the company realized its first overseas production investment. Through this investment, Anadolu Isuzu aims to make modern transportation solutions more accessible across a wide region covering Central Asia and to build a stronger global production and innovation network, progressing toward becoming a strategic integrated manufacturing hub.
R&D is one of the most critical areas strengthening Anadolu Isuzu's competitiveness in both local and international markets. The company develops high-local-content models whose design and intellectual property belong entirely to Anadolu Isuzu. In line with its “Mobility of the Future" vision, the company pursues transformation strategies focused on digitalization and sustainability. By investing in electric vehicle technologies, Anadolu Isuzu aims to offer environmentally friendly transportation solutions both in Türkiye and across its export markets. In this context, the company is developing fully domestically designed and manufactured electric midibus and bus models.
Anadolu Isuzu is included in the BIST Sustainability Index. The company demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by being a signatory to international initiatives such as the United Nations Global Compact, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and Drive to Zero, and by adopting the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework to support transparency regarding climate-related risks and opportunities. Anadolu Isuzu shares its sustainability activities transparently through its reports and published its first integrated report in compliance with the Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS) in 2025.
As one of Türkiye's global players in the commercial vehicle industry, Anadolu Isuzu continues to invest today in the mobility of the future, contributing to the automotive ecosystem with innovative solutions driven by its R&D strength, commitment to sustainable technologies, and customer-oriented engineering approach.
