Türkiye shows off high-tech capabilities at CeBIT

Star - CeBIT 2011, one of the largest trade shows in the IT world, has put the latest and greatest of the IT industry on display in Hannover, Germany after yesterday’s joint opening by Türkiye’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his German counterpart, Angela Merkel.

Türkiye’s official “partner country” status gives added credence to 92 Turkish companies participating in the fair to present their products and services and the overall capabilities of the country’s growing IT industry.

“Türkiye aims to increase the share of high-tech products in its export portfolio to 20 percent in the near term,” said Prime Minister Erdogan, speaking at the opening ceremony. “Rapidly advancing in science and technology, Türkiye adapts well to new trends and heavily invests in new technologies,” he added.
