BSH launches customer support center in Samsun

Dunya - White goods maker BSH inaugurated a call center in Türkiye’s Black Sea province of Samsun yesterday to better serve its growing customer base in the country. Attended by the Minister of Public Works and Settlement, Mustafa Demir, the opening of the Samsun Support Center heralds job openings for at least 400 people in the next two years.

BSH’s market share in Türkiye reached 32 percent with a turnover of TRY 2.4 billion (approx. USD 1.5 billion) in 2010, according to BSH Türkiye Board Chairman Norbert Klein, who spoke at the opening ceremony. “BSH is the 7th largest foreign capital company in Türkiye,” Klein added.

“BSH’s Samsun Support Center is equipped with the latest technologies to address to handle the calls of our customers from all around Türkiye. We plan to employ 150 personnel this year and add 250 more in 2012.” Klein remarked about the company’s latest investment in Türkiye. BSH produces large and small home appliances in its Turkish plant for domestic and foreign markets. The German company has announced plans to invest EUR 300 million in Türkiye over the next five years.
