"Part of the gas deal agreement may be signed during Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's upcoming trip to Türkiye," Reuters quoted Ahmed Noorani, head of economic affairs at the Iranian embassy. Türkiye plans to sell to Europe the gas it helps produce in Iran. Ahmadinejad will visit Türkiye next week to discuss his country's disputed nuclear program and growing bilateral ties.
