Wind Power Türkiye, the premier Turkish wind energy event and the third annual congress of the Turkish Wind Energy Association, has become a key meeting place for Turkish and international wind industry leaders that have come to recognize the potential growth and opportunity for the wind power industry in Türkiye, according to organizers. “Türkiye could be among the top three producers of wind energy” and “has a predictable and attractive market for wind energy investors,” according to Christian Kjaer, Chief Executive Officer of the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA). Held as part of the Turkish International Renewable Energy Congress (TIREC) the 2010 event welcomed 500 representatives from the renewable energy, finance and regulatory sectors.
