Minister Simsek: IMF starts to be flexible on some matters

AA- Mehmet Simsek, the Turkish Minister of State, said on Thursday that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has started to be flexible on certain issues like tax administration. In an exclusive interview in CNN Turk TV, Simsek said Türkiye should find a tax administration model suitable to its own structure, noting that the installation of a tax administration model of another country can be harmful. Simsek said a program that would be in favor of Türkiye might be prepared in case an agreement is reached with the IMF.
