Dunya – During his speech at the workshop organized by the Tekirdag Chamber of Commerce and Industry to evaluate the investment environment in Tekirdag and the neighboring region, Alpaslan Korkmaz, President of the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye (ISPAT), said Türkiye improved its position in the league of foreign direct investments (FDI) and reached a different level. Korkmaz added, “In the past, Türkiye was a player in the 3rd league, whereas we have now moved up to the premier league.” Korkmaz also stated that Türkiye attracted USD 73 billion worth of FDI in the past five years and that this figure does not include financial investments.
