Japanese Daily: Investing in Turkey opens doors to surrounding markets

Sabah - Turkey’s key location at the intersection of major markets, fast growing economy and improving investment climate was commended by one of Japan’s major newspapers, Sankei Shimbun. The article published in the business daily pointed out Turkey’s numerous advantages for Japanese companies, including easy access to markets adjacent to Turkey.

“Turkey’s unique regional position is unmatched as many Turkish companies have distribution networks that expand to neighboring countries, thereby transforming the country into a supply base with an extended reach for investing companies,” the article stated, adding that Japanese companies may easily reach the untapped markets in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia through investing in Turkey.

The article gave Toyota’s car manufacturing plant in Turkey as an example proving Turkey’s high quality production capability for which the Japanese car maker is known.
