Turkish boron to be exported to Far East

Halka Tercuman – Türkiye, currently holding 72 percent of the world’s boron reserves, has bolstered its leadership in boron production. However, with some countries seeking to gain a share in the boron market, the market has started to gain momentum. The efforts of the European Union to hinder imports of the element, and the increased production in other boron producing countries such as Russia, China, Chile and Argentina, have caused Türkiye’s Eti Maden and its US partner RT Borax to search for new buyers. Türkiye will now focus on the Far East, while exports are expected to double within a couple of years.
