Mount Erciyes sees interest from foreign investors

Milli Gazete – Mount Erciyes, which will become a center of attraction for winter sports following the master plan soon to be applied, is attracting the interest of private entrepreneurs considering investments in the tourism sector. Ghanem Mohammed Al Mazroui, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Naser Muheyeldin, CEO of Emirates Fortunes Group, have inspected the investment opportunities in Erciyes Ski Center. Meanwhile, Azeri-Russian businessman Telman Ismailov, who recently opened Mardan Hotel in the southern Anatolian province of Antalya, is planning to construct facilities for winter sports in Erciyes, Central Anatolia’s highest peak. In addition, BAE and Swiss investors are also looking into investment opportunities in different locations on the mountain.
