“Turkish-Chinese trade to exceed USD 50 billion by 2015”

Sabah - Husnu Ozyegin, Chairman of the Fiba Group and the Turkish-Chinese Business Council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEIK), said that the target amount of USD 50 billion of trade volume, set during the visit of the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, is easily reachable, and even surpassable by 2015.

Attending a Turkish-Chinese Business Council meeting, Ozyegin called for cooperation between Türkiye and China in the construction industry. “Türkiye and China can jointly develop construction projects in African and third world countries,” said Ozyegin, stressing Türkiye’s considerable expertise in this field.
