Accompanied by businessmen from various sectors, the minister’s delegation held talks with India’s leading international companies including Tata, Essar and Polyplex about investing in Türkiye’s energy, mining and airport building/management sectors. “Around 250 business meetings with 75 Indian companies were conducted during the Türkiye-India Business Forum,” said Caglayan about his visit. “USD 1 billion worth of deals were reached between Turkish companies, Sogutsen, Seramik STFA, Alsim-Alarko, and a wooden materials supplier and their Indian peers,” the Minister told reporters.
