AA - The "Turkey Investment Conference" will take place in New York on September 29, 2009. The conference is jointly organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) of Turkey, the Turkish-American Business Council, the American Turkish Society and with the support of the company Bloomberg.
Ali Babacan, the Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister; Vedat Akgiray, President of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (SPK); Rifat Hisarciklioglu, the Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB); Haluk Dincer, the Chairman of the American Business Council of DEIK; Turgay Durak, Acting CEO of the Koc Group, US fund managers and around 300 high level executives from finance circles are expected to attend the conference.
The investment environment and opportunities in Turkey will be assessed at the conference that will take place at the Bloomberg HQ in New York. The conference will comprise two panel discussions: "Turkey: Challenges Ahead" and "Current Business Environment in Turkey."
