Fiat Linea received its award at the “AutoBest 2008,” held in Istanbul. Fiat has been the fastest growing automotive company in 2007, said Lorenzo Sistino, Fiat Commercial Vehicles Chairman, who received the award on behalf of the company at the award ceremony. “Intelligence, passion, enthusiasm, commitment and hard work are the key words which lead to our success. Turkish automaker Tofas' role as a Fiat producer is gradually growing and gaining importance worldwide,” he said. “We are very proud that Linea, which is developed, produced and exported in Türkiye, received its first international award,” said Okan Altan, AutoBest's jury member from Türkiye. Fiat Linea, which received the AutoBest 2008 award, received 850 votes from the jury and surpassed its rivals including Kia Cee'd and Mazda 2.
