Akfen-Accor alliance expands to Kayseri

Haberturk Ekonomi - Turkish property developer Akfen GYO and French Accor have expanded their partnership in building and managing hotels in Turkish provinces to include Kayseri, an industrial town in central Anatolia.

Following similar hotel investments in Istanbul, Eskisehir, Trabzon and Gaziantep, Novotel Kayseri and Ibis Hotel Kayseri are the latest in the series of Akfen-Accor joint investments.

The opening ceremonies for the hotels were attended by Türkiye’s Minister for Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay and the Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz. Novotel Kayseri and Ibis Hotel Kayseri cover an area of around 11,000 square meters and cost EUR 14 million to build. The two new hotels are expected to create employment for at least a hundred people.
