Hurriyet - HP, one of the largest technology companies in the world, has decided to expand its six-month old software innovation center in Turkey. The company’s Vice President and General Manager of HP Software for EMEA Region Steen Lomholt–Thomsen said the newly established center proved to be capable and efficient and that they are content with the results. Lomholt–Thomsen said HP would like to expand the innovation center in Turkey and assess universities and cities for other innovation centers.
HP Turkey’s Software Group Manager Tayfun Topkoc also talked of company’s strategy of increasing R&D investments and added, “Projects undertaken in HP’s innovation center in Turkey are co-developed with other centers in the USA, Israel and Russia. Expansion plans are considered due to positive results obtained by HP’s Turkey center.”
