Göztepe Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital was officially opened in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on September 5 in Istanbul.
Delivering remarks at the inauguration ceremony, President Erdoğan highlighted infrastructure investments made in healthcare, “Thanks to the strong healthcare infrastructure we have built, shortcomings seen elsewhere in the world, including developed countries, have been averted. Our healthcare system stands strong despite the continuing coronavirus cases."
Göztepe Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital is Istanbul's fourth city hospital, raising the total number of city hospitals in Türkiye to 15.
