Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank attended on May 22 the webinar held by the International Investors Association (YASED). During the webinar he revealed that Türkiye's Foreign Direct Investment Business Strategy would be finalized soon and that the details of the strategy would be announced to the public.
Emphasizing that Türkiye has to not only increase the already-existing investments but also attract new investments, Minister Varank said, “We will complete the Foreign Direct Investment Business Strategy of our country along with the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office and share it with you soon. While preparing the New Economy Program, we had especially put this issue on our agenda. It appeared that we were right. The timing was actually very accurate in order to catch the spirit of the new era. We want to move quickly with a result and impact-oriented strategy.”
