MSD in search for companies to acquire in Türkiye

 

Dunya - Merck Sharp & Dohme or MSD Pharmaceuticals, having acquired its competitor Schering-Plough for USD 41 billion last year and become the world’s second largest pharmaceutical company, is now looking for companies in Türkiye for a possible merger and acquisition. Marc Princen, MSD President for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said they are currently assessing the investment opportunities in Türkiye and added, “We look forward to strengthening our presence in Türkiye. Talks for acquisitions and local partnership deals with Turkish companies are going on”.
