OIZ investors to benefit from free land allocation

Dunya Ostim - The practice of allocating land to companies investing in Organized Industrial Zones (OIZs) for free will soon begin again. Türkiye’s Minister of Industry and Trade Nihat Ergun said the free land allocation that has been in effect for the last six years is considered highly successful in drawing investments. “The free land allocation practice will soon begin, as there is strong demand from investors”, said Ergun, providing figures showing that 6,358 companies operating in 115 OIZs in 54 provinces have applied for free land allocation. “A total of 2,660 applications have been approved and construction has started in 580 parcels”, added Ergun.
