Dunya - French car maker Peugeot reaffirmed Türkiye’s importance in its future plans. Jean Pierre Vieux, General Manager of Peugeot Türkiye, said the company is still considering production in Türkiye and Peugeot will stay focused on Türkiye for years to come. “We need to reach a certain level of market share before investing in production. That is what we have been doing for the past two years. Our market share went up by two points since 2007”, Vieux told reporters. Vieux reminded that Türkiye is under close watch by French carmakers and Peugeot’s parent company PSA Group President M. Philippe Varin, described Türkiye as “one of the top priorities” for Peugeot.
