Türkiye-Iraq railway links Gaziantep to Mosul

Dunya - Passenger train shuttles will start running this week between Türkiye and Iraq, the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) announced last week. Türkiye and Iraq agreed to establish a railway link in an agreement signed during the Turkish-Iraqi High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. Trains will travel between Mosul, Iraq and the province of Gaziantep in southeastern Türkiye. The first train is expected to arrive in Gaziantep from Mosul on Tuesday, while a return train will leave Gaziantep two days later.
