Danish firms eye renewable energy investments in Turkey

Referans - Seen as one of the leading countries in the field of renewable energy, Turkey is still in the sights of many potential foreign investors looking for an alternative to fossil fuels.

“Danish energy companies seeking to operate in the Turkish renewable energy market have already established contacts in Turkey”, points out Denmark’s Climate and Energy Minister Lykke Friis. Friis said that Turkey’s renewable energy potential could pave the way for cooperation between Turkish and Danish companies in this field. Underlining the expertise of Danish companies in renewable energy applications and equipment, Friis said they are in close contact with the Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD) and will increase cooperation in the near future.
